We’ll leave an opened book unread,

And write the pages in as we conduct experiments to clear our heads,

Hey guys! Just wanted to fill all of you in on a few things!

We just tried out two drummers, and they were both awesome, so we’re having kind of a hard time deciding who we should go with, but either way, both of them are talented and we’ll be excited regardless of who we pick.

We also had a full band practice with both of these drummers, and they went very well! It is coming together quite nice.

We get to announce our first show this FRIDAY on our Facebook. It is with an amazing tour package this fall, and we are extremely stoked for you guys to hear who’s playing it. We love the bands on it, and we know you probably do too!

A few of us will be at the Houston date of “The Death Of Greeley Estates Tour” this Sunday handing out flyers to our first show. So if you see any of us, yell our name or something! We’re super friendly! A few of you may even get a free demo with Vultures and Devices on it if you get lucky! ;)

We are also starting vocals on our third song tomorrow. We’ll be sure to give you guys the scoop on that. We may even include a few pictures of the recording process in our next entry.

Also another issue I’d like to address is that we will continue under the same band name. There was a little bit of drama we ran into this past week with another band called Concepts, but that was settled, and we will NOT be changing our name anytime soon!

Welcome to the official Tumblr page of Concepts.

This is gonna be an awesome little page where you can find out things about us before the rest of the world does.

This page will be used as a studio/tour diary when the time comes. We will probably also include pictures and personal things that the band and its members are up to.

Anyways,

We will be practicing as a full band for the first time with our new member lineup this Friday. We are extremely stoked to bring the family together and start jamming out so we can deliver a live show that none of you will ever forget or want to miss out on.

If everything goes well with everyone we have at practice, we will be taking promos so everyone can see the faces behind the music we work so hard on.

In the mean time, we’ll probably finish recording vocals on song number 3, which is entitled “Luminary”. It hits pretty hard musically, and we’re excited for you to hear it. Unfortunately, though, that song will not be released as a single, and you guys are gonna have to be patient and wait to hear it when the rest of the EP is released. Don’t worry, we’ll have it done soon, then we’ll be releasing it.

Some more exciting news, we have booked our first show. We kind of have to keep it a secret who is playing though because it’s kind of big. All I can tell you right now is that it’s in October with a pretty awesome tour package! So be excited!

Another thing, we are looking for some awesome Endorsements/Sponsorships from rad companies. Not only clothing lines, but anything!
